TANCET Exams Syllabus – Anna University has announced the Syllabus to be studied for TANCET exam to be held on March/April. The TANCET syllabus given on this page lists the subjects and topics that have to be studied by M.Tech aspirants appearing for TANCET. The entrance exam will be conducted for a total of 23 papers. Candidates can use the given links to download the prescribed TANCET syllabus for all papers to use for their preparation for the TANCET exam. Part 1 and 2 are mandatory for all candidates while part 3 is as per the chosen discipline of the applicant. GATE qualified candidates are exempt from the TANCET exam except for applicants who have appeared for GATE Engineering Sciences and Life Sciences papers. Details of the TANCET Exam Pattern :

•          The TANCET exam will consist of 3 sections out of which Part I and II are common for all candidates as well as mandatory. All candidates have to attempt these two sections.

•          The TANCET Part III  will be according to the choice entered by applicants while filling the TANCET Application Form.

•          The TANCET Part I and II Syllabushas been listed separately below. All candidates can download the same using the given link

•          The TANCET Part III is listed in a separate table and candidates must download thir
choice of paper by clicking on the link given for the respective paper.

•          The paper will be in English and will be offline. Total marks will be 100 and the duration of the exam will be two hours

•          The number of questions asked will be as follows

Section I – 20 Questions from Part 1 – Engineering Mathematics.

Section II – 35 Questions from Part 2 –  Basic Engineering & Sciences)

Section III – 60 Questions from Part 3 – as per the paper selected by the applicants.
