About Author

N. Subramanian is a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai. He is a consulting engineer living in Maryland, USA. Other books by Subramanian include Steel Structures: Design and Practice, Principles of Spaces Structures [2nd Edition], Reading Habits of Tribal People in Public Libraries, A To Z Book of Jokes, and Freedom Fighters.

Dr. Subramanian has authored several books and technical papers on computer science software packages both on personal computers and mainframes. These were published in international and Indian conferences and journals. He has more than 35 years of professional experience including consultancy, research, and teaching. He is a fellow of several professional bodies. He is the Chief Executive of Computer Design Consultants, India. He has also been a consultant to many front line organizations in India and has designed several steel towers, multi-storey concrete buildings, and industrial buildings. Dr. Subramanian has also been a reviewer for many Indian and international journals.
