About Author

Dr. U. C. Jindal is former Professor and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Delhi College of Engineering. He completed his Master’s from IIT Kanpur and his PhD from University of Delhi. He was awarded the Toshiba Anand Prize in 1978. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Construction Materials and Structures, New Delhi.
